Development of the Vietnam’s first AutoPilot feature for autonomous driving vehicles

I contributed in developing the algorithms for the motion planning and control module.

The autonomous vehicle was able to drive upto 50km/h in public roads in an island in Vietnam. The work went viral in social media.

Features in this video: Autopilot Level 2+; Driver Monitoring System (DMS); Automatic Emergency Stop Assist and Auto-parking has been successfully tested by VinAI on low-traffic routes in Vietnam in 2021. VinAI’s autonomous driving technologies have been developed based on the most advanced technologies, demonstrating the outstanding capability of Vietnamese engineers and experts, in such a short period of time.
